A couple of days ago, a rumor surfaced that said Michigan WR Tarik Black had suffered an injury to his foot that could sideline him for the entire 2018 campaign.
Unfortunately, that rumor, at least the injury part has come true and it looks like the Wolverines will be without one of their top receivers for an extended period of time.

On Monday, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh spoke about Black’s injury during his weekly press conference. Harbaugh acknowledged that the young receiver fractured his foot and that he would be out for “some time.” The Wolverines coach said Black was still being evaluated and it has not yet been determined if he will need surgery.

Harbaugh also added that the “best is yet to come” for Black.

Black, who suffered a similar injury in 2017 during his freshman season, was expected to be one of the Wolverines’ top receiver options (if not THE best) this coming season. In three games in 2017, Black had 11 receptions for 149 yards and a touchdown.
