Matt Patricia has ‘weak’ message for Detroit Lions’ fans
When the Detroit Lions hired Matt Patricia as their next head coach, the hope was that the team would finally take the next step forward and contend for a Super Bowl. Now, to be fair, not very many thought that would happen this season, but a playoff appearance would be nice.
Unfortunately, the Lions are off to a 0-2 start and they have struggled in all three phases of the game. Patricia, himself, has made mistakes and some have even suggested he is in over his head.

The frustration of Lions’ fans is at an all-time high and it seems to grow stronger as each week goes by. To be fair, the team has never even been to a Super Bowl and their lack of playoff success is embarrassing.
On Monday, Patricia spoke to the media and he made an attempt to address the fans’ frustration in the team.
From Detroit Free Press:
“I would say that the fans are obviously the ones that we’re trying to go out and work the hardest for,” Patricia said Monday in a conference call with Detroit reporters. “And I certainly understand their frustration and we’re doing everything we can possible to make sure we get this turned around.”
Ok, I guess Patricia was trying his best, but that message is not exactly going to get Lions’ fans to jump back on his bandwagon.
That being said, there is only one way to win over Lions’ fans and that is pretty obvious…
WIN FOOTBALL GAMES!!!
