When the Detroit Lions host the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football, there is a chance they will be without All-Pro cornerback Darius Slay as he is dealing with a concussion.

On Wednesday, the Lions released their initial Week 3 Injury/Practice report and Slay did not participate at all. Joining Slay on the report are Jamal Agnew (shoulder), Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder), T.J. Lang (back), and Andrew Donnal (knee). Agnew, Ansah, and Lang were all limited on Wednesday.
The hope is that both Ansah and Lang are able to suit up against the Patriots after they both missed the Lions Week 2 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Though there is still time, it seems like Slay could miss Sunday’s game as the Lions signed free agent cornerback DeShawn Shead on Wednesday as a backup plan.

NO Ohio State Buckeyes or kneelers NEED APPLY! We are going to hire the best people! We are going to win so much, you’ll be tired of winning! We are going to take the Detroit Lions to the Super Bowl!
