According to reports, running back LeGarrette Blount, who missed Wednesday’s practice with an illness, returned to the field on Thursday. Unfortunately, the same can not be said for T.J. Lang, Michael Roberts, or Eli Harold, who were once again sidelined.
Joining the trio is starting cornerback Nevin Lawson, who also missed practice on Thursday, though there is not yet a report as to why.
LeGarrette Blount (illness) back at open portion of Lions practice Thurs. after missing Wed. No Nevin Lawson, however. Also still no sign of T.J. Lang, Michael Roberts or Eli Harold.

On Sunday, the Lions (1-3) will square off against the Green Bay Packers (2-1-1) at Ford Field in what is as close to a “must-win” game as you can have this early in the season.
The Detroit Lions will release a full Practice/Injury report later today.

Green Bay Packers’ QB Aaron Rodgers loves him some ‘Matty Stafford’
This coming Sunday, Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers will invade Ford Field to take on Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions.
Rodgers has long been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and is considered to be one of the greatest signal-callers of all time. After all, he has two NFL MVP awards, has been to the Pro Bowl six times, and has a Super Bowl championship to his name.
Stafford, on the other hand, despite putting up gaudy numbers throughout his career, has yet to really get the respect he has earned. He has yet to lead the Lions to a playoff victory and many (who are clueless and do not understand that football is a team sport) blame him.
Well, Rodgers happens to be quite the fan of Stafford and he is not afraid to say so.
From Detroit Free Press:
“I’ve long enjoyed matching up with Matty,” Rogers said. “He’s a fantastic quarterback and has done it for a long time and I’ve enjoyed competing against him. He’s one of the guys I really respect and enjoy watching whenever we have a common opponent, which we usually do being division foes. Always enjoy watching his film.”
