Following their 28-14 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, the Detroit Lions went back to the drawing board on Monday as they begin preparations for their upcoming game against the Minnesota Vikings.
According to Adam Schefter, the Lions hosted former New York Giants linebacker, Kelvin Sheppard on Monday.
Sheppard, who was originally selected in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills, has bounced around the league a bit, including stops in Indianapolis, Miami, and New York.
In 100 career games (63 starts), Sheppard has accumulated 418 tackles (270 solo) and three sacks. During his most recent season with the Giants in 2017, he played in seven games (six starts) and had 49 tackles and a pair of interceptions.
