The past week has been an interesting one for the Detroit Lions and it all ended on Sunday with a lackluster performance on the road against the Minnesota Vikings.
One of the big headlines this week, rather than talking about the football team, instead focused on an incident that happened during a Matt Patricia press conference.

During that presser, Patricia had an exchange with a reporter that left many media members feeling insulted.
In case you missed it, here was how the back-and-forth went.
Reporter: “Why do you think this move makes your franchise better?”
Patricia: “Ah, well, you know. Do me a favor just kinda sit up, just like, have a little respect for the process. Every day you come and ask me questions and you’re just kinda like you know, ‘gimme this.’ “
Reporter: “I’m sitting …”
Patricia: “I’m asking just to be a little respectful in this whole process.”
Reporter: “Okay, that’s fine.”
Patricia: “So ask me a question professionally and I’ll answer it for you.”
Patricia then went on to answer the question.
Following that exchange, many media members hopped on social media to voice their displeasure with Patricia and how he called out the reporter. Even Miami Dolphins head coach Adam Gase took a light shot at Patricia by mocking him.
Well, after the Lions abysmal performance against the Vikings, one Detroit newspaper thought they would use this as a chance to take a shot at Patricia with a headline.
Here is the headline The Detroit News decided to run with on Monday morning.
It’s a headline they were obviously VERY proud of as the even tweeted it out on Sunday night.

Nation, what do you think about the headline The Detroit News decided to run on Monday morning? Is it fair game after what Patricia pulled in the presser or is it lazy and nothing more than a newspaper lowering their standards?
