Lions fans, here are your inactives for the game today against the Chicago Bears. Teez Tabor is a healthy scratch after a rough couple of weeks.
Detroit Lions inactives:
RB Kerryon Johnson
WR Marvin Jones Jr.
LB Jalen Reeves-Maybin
CB Teez Tabor
DE Kerry Hyder Jr.
T Andrew Donnal
WR Brandon Powell— Tim Twentyman (@ttwentyman) November 22, 2018
No major surprises here but it is looking like a game day roster that will be lacking quite a bit of depth on a short week.
Da’Shawn Hand looks to have permanently taken all of Kerry Hyder’s playing time, and Bruce Ellington should see a steady snap count until Marvin Jones Jr. returns. On that note, Ian Rapoport is reporting that Jones Jr. looks like he could be back next week.
From @gmfb: The #Lions could get WR Marvin Jones (knee) back next week, while there is optimism that #Saints pass-rusher Marcus Davenport makes his return from a toe injury tonight. pic.twitter.com/OJQ3wcD8PB

BREAKING: Mitchell Trubisky will not play, Chase Daniel will start
It’s official, Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky will not be playing in today’s Thanksgiving day game in Detroit. Veteran Chase Daniel will get the start.
Adam Schefter reported yesterday that it was likely Daniel would get the start after Trubisky woke up sore and with limited movement in his shoulder, but it has now been confirmed that Trubisky won’t dress for today’s game.
While the injury may have Detroit fans excited about the Lions’ chances today, the betting community doesn’t seem to share their optimism. The line opened up at Chicago -4 when it looked like Trubisky was going to start. The line is now Chicago -3 with Chase Daniel in as the starter.
