Unfortunately, for Shea Patterson and the University of Michigan, they were not able to get the job done in their final game of the regular season, a devastating loss to Ohio State.

With a win, the Wolverines would have advanced to the Big Ten Championship game and if they won that, likely a spot in the College Football Playoff.
Up next for Michigan is a matchup against Florida in the Peach Bowl and the question is, will it be Patterson’s final game with the maize and blue.
The Wolverines’ quarterback has a big decision to make. Will he play one more season at Michigan or will he declare himself eligible for the NFL Draft.
He recently talked about when he will make his decision and it sounds like he will wait until after the Peach Bowl to make an announcement.
From Wolverines Wire:
“I’ve had the most fun ever in my football career so far suiting up here at Michigan,” Patterson said. “It’s been such an honor to do it. I think there’s a lot more to be done.
“I’m just so excited to get one more win, and possibly finish top five in the country. That would be pretty big for us, and we’ll discuss further, further down the road with Coach Harbaugh and my family.”
Still, this was an opportunity of a lifetime for Patterson. But he doesn’t want to rush whether or not he has one game left for Michigan or thirteen-plus.
Once the upcoming matchup against Florida in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl is in the rearview mirror, Patterson says then he’ll start thinking about whether he will return or head to the pros.
“I’m so focused on the Gators right now that I haven’t thought about it,” Patterson said. “I’ll sit down with Coach Harbaugh pretty soon, maybe after the bowl game and have a talk with him, talk it over with my family. But I’m just so excited, I’m just ready to suit up again.”
Nation, do you think Shea Patterson will return to the Wolverines for the 2019 season?
