JUST IN: Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh expects 8 recruits to enroll early

Wednesday was a big day for Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines as they officially signed 25 of their 27 recruits.

The next question is, which of those 25 recruits will enroll early?

According to Harbaugh, he expects eight of those players to do so.

Here is a list via MLive, which includes quotes from Harbaugh about each player.

Erick All (four-star TE): “Somebody’s dominant as the year was going on. Great tight end prospect.”

Zach Charbonnet (four-star RB): “He’s a smart guy, he’s a running back. There’s no question, if you point to someone on the offensive side of the ball that’s a real playmaker — it’s Zach Charbonnet.”

Cade McNamara (four-star QB): “He’s a gunslinger. I love that.”

Gabe Newburg (three-star DE): “A ‘Go Blue’ guy all the way. Defensive end. Going to remind a lot of people of Chase Winovich with his motor.”

David Ojabo (four-star DE): On Ojabo and fellow defensive end Mike Morris, who is not enrolling early: “Big, strong guys who have really, really impressive families and work ethic.”

Jalen Perry (four-star CB): “He played both ways (in high school). Very versatile player. Corner and wide receiver.”

Mike Sainristil (three-star CB): “A very skilled player. Could be an offensive player, could be a defensive player.”

Mazi Smith (four-star DT): “In-state, defensive tackle,” who can already bench press 450 pounds.

Nation, which of these players are you most excited to see play in 2019?

Michigan Wolverines’ National Signing Day recap

Jim Harbaugh and the University of Michigan football coaching staff had a very productive national signing day run. On the first day of the early signing period, the Wolverines were able to fill up almost their entire 2019 Freshman class inking commitments with 25 recruits.

The day was marked by the biggest surprise, maybe in the country, when Daxton Hill decided to send his letter of intent to Michigan. Only 11 days ago, Daxton flipped his commitment to Michigan to Alabama, but today that all changed. Hill is a five-star safety from Oklahoma with a great pedigree. He is the younger brother of Justice Hill, the Oklahoma State running back that just declared for the NFL draft.
