According to reports, Michigan has hired an offensive coordinator.
BREAKING: #Alabama Co-OC Josh Gattis will become the new offensive coordinator at #Michigan, sources tell me & @ChrisVannini. This is a big addition for Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines: https://t.co/Nxcf5X2EVn

A wide receiver coach at numerous stops, Gattis coached receivers and served as the Co-Offensive Coordinator for national runner up Alabama. In his first year with Nick Saban, the Crimson Tide had great success with their receiving core including an incredibly effective emphasis on downfield passing.
He looks to be a natural replacement for the departed Jim McElwain and is expected to have a large role in shaping the offense this coming season in Ann Arbor.
