Former Michigan Wolverine and current Indiana Pacers small forward Glenn Robinson III won the 2017 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, beating out the Phoenix Suns’ Derrick Jones Jr. in the final round, while also defeating Los Angeles Clippers’ DeAndre Jordan and the Orlando Magic’s Aaron Gordon.

Robinson played two seasons at Michigan (2012-14), a stretch where the school totaled a program-best 59 wins. In his 76 career games, he averaged 12.0 PPG and close to 5.0 RPG while playing in 33 minutes per contest. He was a second-round pick of the Timberwolves back in 2014. He played in 35 games as a rookie for both the T-Wolves and 76ers and has now been with the Pacers each of the last two seasons.
