On Tuesday night, the American League defeated the National League 2-1 in the 2017 MLB All-Star Game. The win marked the 5th consecutive time the A.L. took down the N.L. in the Midsummer Classic.
The only Detroit Tigers player to make an appearance was outfielder Justin Upton and he certainly made the most of his opportunity. Not only did Upton pick up a hit but he also made an outstanding catch to take away extra bases from Corey Seager of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the bottom of the 10th.
