Could Justin Wilson begin day in Tigers jersey and finish day in Astros jersey?

With just over 24 hours remaining until the Major League Baseball trade deadline, the big question around these parts is whether or not the Detroit Tigers will make any more deals.

One player who has been consistently involved in trade rumors over the past few weeks is Tigers closer, Justin Wilson. He has been linked to a plethora of teams lately and he certainly seems to have the most trade value for the Tigers at this point.

Prior to Sunday’s game, Jon Morosi reported that sources have told him that trade discussions involving Wilson have been “most serious” with the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals.

What’s really interesting is that the Tigers host the Astros in the final game of a 3-game series at Comerica Park.

As we have seen plenty of times before, trades can go down during the game causing those players involved to exit said game to pack and leave town. But, if Wilson is traded to the Astros during the game, he could simply leave the Tigers dugout and head across the field to the visitor’s dugout.

Whether or not Wilson would actually switch to an Astros jersey in the middle of the game would be interesting to see, to say the least.
