The Tigers and Yankees engaged in a bench clearing brawl after Miguel Cabrera and Austin Romine exchanged heated words and then punches at home plate in the sixth inning of Thursday’s game.
The chaos wasn’t over, however.
Tigers catcher James McCann was absolutely rocked in the head by a pitch from Dellin Betances. McCann went down immediately, but got up under his own power. Betances was ejected.
