When the Detroit Pistons open up their 2017-2018 campaign, it will be the beginning of a new era. Not only will they be playing their home games at the brand new Little Caesars Arena but they will be doing so in some brand spanking new threads.

As we know, the Pistons new home and away Nike jerseys were unveiled earlier in the summer (see below) but now their alternate jersey has been leaked by, you guessed it, a video game.

On Wednesday, Twitter user @ConradBurry tweeted out photos (via @JMoneyMikita) of all 30 NBA alternate jerseys for the upcoming 2017-2018 NBA season. JMoneyMikita (or so we will call him) was able to get a screenshot of each alternate jersey from the video game, NBA2K18, a game which has not officially been released. JMoneyMikita claims he was able to obtain an early-release copy of the game from Austrailia.

So, without further ado, here is the “unofficial” photo of the alternate jersey the Pistons will be wearing this coming season.

*The Pistons have yet to confirm that this is, in fact, their alternate jersey.

What do you think, Pistons Nation? Are you on board with this jersey?

Out with the old, in with the new

Back in July, the Pistons revealed the new Nike jerseys they will be wearing for the upcoming season and they are pretty slick.

Here is side by side comparison of the Pistons new home jersey to the home jersey from a season ago.

And a side by side of the Pistons new road jersey compared to that of a year ago.

In addition to revealing the new jerseys, the Pistons also announced they have partnered with Flagstar Bank and will be wearing an advertisement patch on their jerseys beginning in the 2017-2018 NBA season.
