It’s been a busy week for Detroit Lions general manager Bob Quinn as the team continues to prepare for their upcoming matchup against the New York Giants on Monday Night Football.

After signing offensive tackle Storm Norton to the practice squad and releasing seventh-round draft pick Pat O’Connor on Wednesday, the Lions announced a couple more minor moves on Thursday.

Specifically, the Lions have signed defensive tackle Christian Ringo to the practice squad and have released defensive tackle, Daniel Ross.

Ringo was originally drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. After spending his first two seasons with the Packers, he was released prior to the 2017 season before being signed by the Cincinnati Bengals. He was recently waived by the Bengals so they could free up a roster spot for Adam “Pac Man” Jones.

According to reports, the Lions also worked out a handful of players this week including four wide receivers (C.J. Board, Anthony Dable, Cyri Grayson, and Jordan Payton) and a quarterback (Garrett Grayson).

Garrett Grayson, who played his college ball at Colorado State, was originally a third-round pick by the New Orleans Saints in 2015. He was waived by the team on Sept. 2 and has never taken a snap in a regular season game.

The Lions (1-0) will certainly have their work cut out for them on Monday Night Football as the Giants (0-1) will be hungry to pick up their first win of the season after getting embarrassed by the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football in Week 1.
