It happened again!

On Sunday, the Detroit Lions did not play their best game of the season, yet as the clock was running out, they had a golden opportunity to steal a victory. And that’s exactly what they did as Matthew Stafford found Golden Tate for the game-winning touchdown!

Wait, what? He was short of the goal line? 10-second runoff? Game over? What in the hell just happened?!?

As you know by now, the Lions were victimized once again by the NFL officials. Personally, I think that Tate was down short of the goal line, but I think he was down with 11 seconds left on the clock. Had the officials not had their heads up their asses, they would have also checked the clock before making their final decision. Obviously, they did not, and the 10-second runoff ended the game and the Lions hopes of beating the Atlanta Falcons to move to 3-0.

If you have been a Lions fan for a while now, you are more than aware that this is not the first time they have been bent over by the NFL officials. It’s not the second, third, or fourth time either. In fact, when the final call was made in Sunday’s game, I sat calmly in my chair. Not because I was not pissed off but because I expected it to happen. Why wouldn’t I? It happens to the Lions regularly.

As I was browsing Twitter this evening (apparently I like pain) I came across this video created by @Burgh_10 that highlights (lowlights) the Lions recent history with bad calls.

Nation, it’s an absolute disgrace that this many BIG calls can go against one team. But that being said, what does not kill you makes you stronger. This Detroit Lions team will use this as motivation to get the job done for the rest of the season and beyond.

DETROIT VS. EVERYBODY!!!
