Following their impressive road win over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4, many across the country started giving the Detroit Lions some major love. In fact, according to NFL.com, the Lions were listed as the No. 2 team in the power rankings headed into Week 5.

We realize that power rankings mean absolutely nothing in the big picture but after losing 27-24 to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, the Lions, who were a 2.5 point favorite, are sure to take a hit.

Now the 3-2 Lions shift their focus to Week 6, as they prepare to travel to New Orleans to take on a 2-2 Saints team that is coming off of a bye week.

According to the Westgate Superbook in Las Vegas, the Saints are listed as a 3.5 favorite over the Lions. On Sunday night, the line opened at -3 in favor of New Orleans and quickly climbed to where it currently sits.

After opening the season with two-straight losses (@Minnesota and vs. New England), the Saints have caught fire and have won back to back road games, including a 34-13 Week 3 win over the same Panthers team that just beat the Lions.

With a win, the Lions would move to 4-2 before heading into their bye week.
