As the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers prepare for a big division battle on Monday Night Football, some of each team’s key players have wound up on the injury report.
For the Lions, two key players on their injury report are rookie wide receiver Kenny Golladay and defensive end Ezekial Ansah. Golladay hasn’t played since getting injured in a Week 3 loss* to the Atlanta Falcons. If he is able to suit up and play for Detroit on Monday, it would provide a huge boost to the offense and could help improve their red zone efficiency. Ziggy has been on the injury report constantly this year for the Lions, but it hasn’t been too much of an issue as he has played in every game this season. If for some reason he is not able to go, it would be a huge loss for the Lions’ defense which is looking to take full advantage of the inexperience Packers QB Brett Hundley has at the professional level.

For the Packers, two key players who have shown up on their injury report are tight-end Martellus Bennett and safety Morgan Burnett. If Bennett is unable to go for Green Bay on Monday, then it will leave the Lions defense with one less weapon to worry about. Although he hasn’t been much of a factor this season, he could still break out at any time. Burnett is a solid safety for the Green Bay Packers and if he is not able to play, then the passing game should be a little easier for Matthew Stafford and the Lions offense.
