Are the Detroit Tigers looking to move one or both of the remaining players that actually have some trade value to other teams? The two players in question are second baseman Ian Kinsler and shortstop Jose Iglesias.

According to the Detroit News Chris McCosky,

There was some thought that Avila would be opposed to trading both his middle infielders, especially since they lost utility man Andrew Romine off waivers to Seattle. Avila said that is not the case.

“We could trade both,” he said. “If it’s both, then we would have to go out and sign another guy. It’s different situations, different players, different positions. I don’t know which way it’s going to go.

Ian Kinsler, a 4-time all-star coming off his worst statistical season since joining the Detroit Tigers for the 2014 season, still has value around the league. Kinsler was recently robbed of his second consecutive gold glove season with the Tigers.

Ian Kinsler will be looking to bounce back from a season in which he hit only .236, but still hitting 22 home runs from the leadoff spot for the Detroit Tigers.

Jose Iglesias would have some trade value as well. Iglesias is coming off a season in which he hit .255 while driving in a career-best 55 runs. Jose Iglesias is known more for his glove than for his bat, but can still be an average hitter.

By trading the 1-time all-star Iglesias the Tigers could be making room for Dixon Machado and seeing what type of player they have in him. Machado, playing his first full season in the majors, hit .259 in only 166 at bats this past season with the Detroit Tigers.

What do you think nation? Do they move Ian Kinsler or Jose Iglesias?  Do they move both of them or neither?
