As the Detroit Lions continue with their preparations for Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, general manager Bob Quinn has made a couple of roster moves.
On Wednesday, the Lions announced they have signed defensive end Jeremiah Valoaga to the practice squad and have released linebacker Thurston Armbrister from the practice squad.

Valoaga, who was originally signed by Detroit as an undrafted free agent this past May, has already played in nine games this season, recording five tackles and one sack in a depth player for the Lions. He was just placed on waivers by the team on November 25th.

How the Detroit Lions actually lost twice in Week 12
Heading into their Thanksgiving Day matchup against the Minnesota Vikings, the Detroit Lions and their fans knew it was essentially a must-win game if they wanted any shot at winning the NFC North.
Unfortunately, the Lions (6-5) started off slow (again) and the Vikings (9-2) held on for 30-23 win at Ford Field. With the win, Minnesota now holds a commanding three-game lead over Detroit in the North and the Lions only hope of making the playoffs seems to be via an NFC Wild Card spot.
