It has been one hell of a week for the University of Michigan football program. Whether it was losing to their biggest rival, having multiple players announce their intentions to transfer, or rumors of coaches leaving, things have certainly been interesting for the Maize and Blue.

Hopefully, for the sake of the Wolverines and their fans, the following tweet sent out by 4-star quarterback Joe Milton has nothing to do with his commitment to Michigan.

Check it out.

Milton, who plans to enroll early at Michigan, may have been tweeting about something that has nothing at all to do with football, or it could have been in response to some recent rumors floating around.

Those rumors have to do with the one surrounding Ole Miss quarterback Shea Patterson, who potentially could transfer to Michigan for the 2018 season.

Patterson, who was the No. 1 ranked quarterback in the Class of 2016, is thought to be considering leaving Ole Miss because of the 2-year bowl ban and scholarship reduction sanctions which were handed down by the NCAA.

Some fans are already responding to Milton’s tweet and they seem a bit concerned.

Other fans are not worried at all or at least they don’t want to show it.

Time will tell, but as we know, nothing is set in stone until it is actually set in stone.

UPDATED:

Just after our post, Milton decided to clear the air, tweeting the following two messages indicating he is still Michigan bound. Who knows, maybe he was making a decision between peanut butter and jelly or ham and cheese!

Michigan’s quarterback situation was an absolute train wreck this year.
