The college world is ablaze with people upset at Alabama (11-1) getting into the College Fotball Playoff on Sunday over Ohio State (10-2).

The Buckeyes’ argument of winning the BigTen Championship over previously undefeated Wisconsin was not enough to overcome their 31-point loss to Iowa, which was also one week after pulling off a phenomenal comeback against then-No. 2 Penn State.

But that’s not the main message sent by the College Football Playoff committee. This is:

Stop sucking in the College Football Playoff and take a year to think about your mistakes.

Let’s recap the last time Ohio State was in the CFP… Oh yes, I remember, they were DRUBBED 31-0 by Clemson. Nice representation, Big Ten.

Oh and how about the year before and my beloved Michigan State Spartans? Alabama turned a 10-0 halftime lead into a 38-0 laugher of a game that many people turned off before the fourth quarter. Again, nice work Big Ten.

Let’s not forget that this is a business, and views matter more than the pissed-off people surrounding Columbus. And when it comes to performing on the biggest stage, there is ONE constant: Alabama. They don’t win every time, but you know damn well they will be in the ball game.

And on top of that, we have been given Clemson/Alabama, Part III. Let’s go back two years. In 2016, the Crimson Tide bested the Tigers 45-40 in an unbelievably thrilling game. And then last year? Clemson got revenge 35-31. Two of the best national championship games of this century. Yes I’d like some more of that please.

So, Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Penn State… Get your $#!¥ together and show us you can compete with the top teams.

Until then, stop whining.
