There has been a lot of noise lately when it comes to Ole Miss players legitimately considering Michigan as an option to transfer to. Ole Miss is currently facing sanctions given out by the NCAA, which is opening the door for its players to leave and consider playing elsewhere.

Well, reports are now out that seven Ole Miss players are interested in transferring to Michigan. This was first reported by Rival’s Andrew Vailliencourt.

On top of that, there were sightings of Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh and a Michigan plane in Oxford on Tuesday. Reports said that Harbaugh was out to eat with safety Deontay Anderson.

The top prospect from Ole Miss is quarterback Shea Patterson, who was the No. 1 ranked quarterback in the 2016 class, and the No. 4 overall player, according to 247Sports.

This is obviously catching the eye of college football analysts around the country, including Bruce Feldman of FOX Sports.

The seven players who are reportedly interested in Michigan are Patterson, Anderson, wide receiver Van Jefferson, offensive tackle Greg Little, linebacker Breon Dixon, offensive tackle Bryce Matthews, and tight end Jacob Mathis.

Now it remains to be seen if one or any of these players will end up transferring to play for the Maize and Blue, but there’s a good chance that Patterson’s decision could set off a domino effect. If he decides to come, the others might follow. If he doesn’t decide to come, Michigan might miss out on all seven.

It’s all speculation at this point, but it’ll be interesting to see how this ends up playing out.
