The Detroit Lions have officially hired former New Orleans Saints defensive backs coach Aaron Glenn to be their next defensive coordinator.
Glenn, who is 48, has been coaching in the NFL since 2014 when he started off as a defensive backs coach for the Cleveland Browns. He was with the Browns for two seasons before he was hired to do the same job with New Orleans Saints.
You may remember Glenn from his playing days as he was the No. 12 overall pick in the 1994 NFL Draft. During his 15 seasons in the league, Glenn intercepted 41 passes in 205 career games. He was selected to the NFL Pro Bowl on three occasions.
