As if anyone expected any different, the NFL has selected quarterback Aaron Rodgers as the league MVP. The Green Bay Packers star athlete really was the best quarterback in the league, but a lot of people think J.J. Watt should have gotten more serious thought for the award. He was a one-man wrecking crew on defensive line, while playing both defensive end and defensive tackle. Not to mention, he caught several passes this season, all of them for a touchdown.
Rodgers is a very good quarterback, but I’m not so sure he’s the best football player in the NFL. That honor has to go to Watt. One thing is for certain, this slight is only going to drive Watt to work harder in 2015.
J.J. Watt had 5 touchdowns this season, and you can check out all of them here:
