Just prior to the start of the 2021 regular season, the Detroit Lions announced they had signed future Hall of Fame RB, Adrian Peterson to a 1-year contract.
Peterson has been nothing but class with the Lions and he has helped the younger players, especially rookie D'Andre Swift, develop throughout the year.
But what about Peterson's future?
Well, on Tuesday, Peterson told Josina Anderson that he believes in the Lions and that he would like to play for them in 2021.
“I'd still like to stay in Detroit,” Peterson said. “I believe we still have a good team. We just need a few more pieces to improve.”
Nation, would you like to see Peterson potentially retire as a Detroit Lion?
While the #Lions were eliminated from postseason contention this past Sunday for the 4th straight season, RB Adrian Peterson (currently on a 1-year deal) tells me, "I'd still like to stay in Detroit. I believe we still have a good team. We just need a few more pieces to improve."
