If you watched the Detroit Lions play in 2016, you realize they have weaknesses just about everywhere. One of those weaknesses was the running game and if the Lions want to get back to the playoffs in 2017, it is an area they must improve. According to SiriusXM NFL Radio, former Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has the Lions on his destination list.
Filed to SiriusXM: Adrian Peterson wants to take his time & not in a rush to sign. OAK, SEA, NE, DET, GB, and MIN are all possibilities.

After being indicted on child abuse charges, Peterson was suspended for most of the 2014 season. He returned in 2015 and rushed for 1,485 yards and looked like his old self. This past season, he was injured in Week 2 and was placed on injured reserve.
Peterson will soon be 32-years-old and will likely land somewhere before the 2017 season begins.
Nation, should the Lions consider signing the future Hall of Fame RB? Personally, I will take a HARD pass on that one.
