Adrian Peterson has message for Detroit Lions fan following embarrassing loss to Bears

For the third-straight season under head coach Matt Patricia, the Detroit Lions managed to embarrass themselves in their first regular-season game.

This time, the Lions blew a 23-6 fourth-quarter lead against the Chicago Bears and plenty of fans are already throwing in the towel on the 2020 season.

But according to Lions' RB Adrian Peterson, it is not time to give up on the team just yet.

On Sunday night, Peterson tweeted out a message to the fans.

“Temporary setback!! We're only learning and getting better from here,” Peterson tweeted out.

Nation, do you believe Peterson that this is just a temporary setback?
