His reservation in the NFL Hall of Fame is secure – but in the meantime, he continues to add to his personal accolades. And this afternoon against the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions RB Adrian Peterson continued to climb the NFL stats ladder.
With three carries on Detroit’s opening drive, Peterson has moved into sole possession of 6th place all-time in NFL carries with 3,174.
Who did he leapfrog on the list? None other than the legendary LaDanian Tomlinson.
Adrian Peterson, with three carries on that drive, tied LaDanian Tomlinson for No. 6 all-time in carries (3,174).

Congratulations to Peterson! We’re sure fortunate that he’s donning the Honolulu Blue this season.
