Well, on Wednesday, Football Outsiders released their DVOA projections for 2019 NFL season.

*To get a full, detailed explanation of what DVOA is, please click here, but in short, “DVOA measures a team’s efficiency by comparing success on every single play to a league average based on situation and opponent.”

According to Football Outsiders and their advanced metrics, the Detroit Lions are actually a slight favorite to win the NFC North in 2019!

That’s right, Lions’ fans, the Lions are projected to win 8.3 games this season, which tops Green Bay (8.2 wins), Chicago (8.0) and Minnesota (8.0).

When it comes to total DVOA in the NFL, the Lions come in at No. 15 (No. 14 on offense and No. 21 on defense).
