On Wednesday, it was announced that Detroit Tigers analyst Jack Morris had been suspended indefinitely by Bally Sports Detroit following the comments he made on Tuesday night while Los Angeles Angels star Shohei Ohtani was coming up to bat.
If you have not yet heard those comments, and Morris’ apology, please click here.
On Thursday night, Ohtani was on the mound for the Angeles, and not only did he dominate the Tigers lineup but he helped himself out by blasting a home run.
Following the game, Ohtani was asked about Morris’ comments and his suspension and he said he was not offended.
“I did see the footage and I heard it. Personally, I’m not offended and I didn’t take anything personally. … He is a Hall of Famer. He has a big influence in the baseball world. It’s kind of a tough spot.”
