Opening Day is almost here and we now know who will get the start for the Detroit Tigers when they take on the Cleveland Indians on Thursday, April 1st at Comerica Park.

According to manager AJ Hinch, Matthew Boyd will start for the Tigers on Opening Day.

In 2020, Boyd struggled in a big way as he was just 3-7 with a 6.71 ERA in 12 starts.

  1. We are very optimistic as the Tiger season opener approaches. With A.J. Hinge at the helm and our prospects one season closer to having their talent showcased all eyes are on our boys of summer. The good news for fans is that with so much room for improvement, the sky is the limit. Let’s go Tigers!
