The Detroit Tigers played their final game of the 2021 season on Sunday and they ended on a high note by defeating the Chicago White Sox by a score of 5-2.
With the win, the Tigers finished the season with a 77-85 record, which is much better than most experts predicted and a lot of credit has to be given to manager AJ Hinch.
Following the game, Hinch tweeted out a message thanking Tigers’ fans for their support and letting them know that there is still work to do.
Thank you #Tigers fans for your support in 2021. Great progress on the field for sure, but a lot left to do. Can’t wait to get to 2022. https://t.co/ISRbCfezTc
