Detroit Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone has a new title this offseason: proud father of three.
Anzalone and his wife welcomed their newest child, a moment the veteran defender shared on social media with a heartfelt post celebrating the growing family. The photo showed Anzalone and his wife in the hospital, smiling down at their newborn, with the caption, “Officially – Alex Anzalone Father of 3,” along with prayer and baby emojis.

It’s a special milestone for one of the emotional leaders of the Lions’ defense. Known in Detroit for his toughness, leadership, and relentless motor on the field, Anzalone now heads into the next chapter of his career with even more motivation at home.
From grinding in the trenches at linebacker to late-night feedings and diaper duty, the Lions’ captain is embracing life’s most important role, being a dad.
