The Detroit Lions defense has not only been bad in 2020, but it has also been all-time bad.
In fact, heading into Week 17, the Lions are just 262 yards shy of breaking their franchise record for most yards allowed in a single season.
On Sunday, the Lions defense was slaughtered by Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense to the tune of 47 points.
But according to Doug Farrar, the Lions defense was so bad last Sunday that they managed to hit for the cycle against the Bucs, allowing TD passes while in four different defenses.
Congratulations to the Detroit Lions, who, against the Buccaneers, allowed two touchdowns in Cover-1, two touchdowns in Cover-3, one touchdown in Quarters, and one touchdown in Cover-6.
