In his first game with the Detroit Lions, running back Ameer Abdullah scored a touchdown and looked like he could be the Lions next great player.
Unfortunately, for Abdullah and the Lions, his career was upended when he suffered a Lisfranc injury in 2016.
In the opening episode of a new docuseries, Abdullah revealed that the injury to his foot sent him in to a bit of a tailspin and that he was even suicidal.
