Amon-Ra St. Brown Explains Why Favorite TD Was So Special

Amon-Ra St. Brown has revealed his favorite NFL touchdown... so far.

When the Detroit Lions selected Amon-Ra St. Brown in the 4th Round of the 2021 NFL Draft, nobody (except maybe St. Brown himself) imagined he would make three Pro Bowls AND be named as a 1st Team All-Pro twice, all within his first four seasons in the NFL. During those four seasons, St. Brown has scored 33 touchdowns, and one stands out as his favorite.

Amon-Ra St. Brown’s First TD Was ‘Oxford Strong’

During a recent episode of the St. Brown Podcast, Amon-Ra not only revealed what his favorite NFL touchdown is so far, but he explained why.

“My favorite play is my first touchdown,” St. Brown said. “Against the Vikings, no time left, walk-off. We hadn’t won a game yet all year, my rookie year. The shooting had just happened at Oxford High School, which was terrible. I remember there was kids from that high school at the game, I said what’s up to them. They were super excited to be there and watch the Lions play.

“We had the Oxford logo on our helmet and everything. I think the coaches had the hat on and everything. It was just a crazy time in Michigan,” St. Brown added. “We ended up winning our first game, my first touchdown. I feel like for me, after that play, everything took off for me. So that’s my favorite play.”
