Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has made his pick for the dream player he would love to add to the Lions roster, and it’s a name that should get fans excited. During the latest episode of the “St. Brown Podcast,” Amon-Ra answered a fan’s question about which NFL player he’d like to see join the Lions.
After thinking it over, St. Brown said he would want to add Maxx Crosby, the star defensive end for the Las Vegas Raiders.
“It would probably have to be Maxx Crosby,” St. Brown said. “I feel like him, Z, the edge rushers we got, Aidan, would be crazy. At that point, I feel like your DB’s have to cover for like three seconds and that’s that, because one of those is getting to the quarterback, one of those is getting a sack, a pressure, whatever it is.”
St. Brown also made sure to mention Crosby’s connection to Michigan, saying, “He went to Eastern Michigan, it just feels right.”
The thought of Aidan Hutchinson on one side of the defensive line, Maxx Crosby on the other, and the likes of Zach Paschal and the rest of the Lions’ defensive rushers is enough to make any fan salivate. The Lions already boast one of the most dynamic defenses in the league, and Crosby would only add more power to an already intimidating front.
Can you imagine the havoc these two could wreak on opposing quarterbacks? Fans certainly don’t need to be convinced. St. Brown’s enthusiasm for the idea is shared by the entire Detroit fanbase, who can only dream of what it would look like to have Crosby in Honolulu Blue alongside Hutchinson.
Lions fans everywhere are eagerly hoping for the day that St. Brown's wish might come true!
