For the first time in his NBA career, Andre Drummond is not a member of the Detroit Pistons.
Instead, Drummond will now call Ohio home (yuck) after the Pistons traded him to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday, just prior to the NBA trade deadline.
Apparently, Drummond was caught off guard by the trade as he tweeted out a message bashing the Pistons for not giving him a “heads up” that he was being shipped out.
Drummond noted in his tweet that there is no loyalty in the NBA and he doubled down on that thought prior to going to bed on Thursday night.
“Remember son trust no one,” Drummond tweeted late Thursday night.
Drummond is clearly upset that he was traded away from the team that originally drafted him but we wish him the best of luck in Cleveland.
