Former Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond may have just earned himself a spot on Shaqtin’ a Fool.
In what may be the most bizarre offensive possession in recent memory, the Cleveland Cavaliers center received the ball at the top of the 3-point line, and then waited. And waited. And waited.
He then drove to the basket and attempted a backhand layup that, well, didn’t exactly work out:

Drummond and the Cavs were able to overcome the blunder and win the game by a 94-90 final.
The Pistons traded Drummond last February to Cleveland in exchange for Brandon Knight, John Henson and a 2023 second-round pick.
