As full squad workouts have just begun, the Detroit Tigers have already been bit by the injury bug. After a nagging injury sidelined Anibal Sanchez for a majority of the 2015 season, it seems that he has tweaked something just a week into Spring Training.
According to Brad Ausmus, the Tigers starter has inflammation in his lower right triceps.

Despite not being allowed to pick up a ball until Monday, Sanchez did not seem too worried about the injury.
Anibal Sanchez didn't seem too worried, feels it's best to stay patient: "I'm good. It's early. We don't have to rush anything. "

In 25 games last season, Sanchez posted a 4.99 ERA in 157 IP. The 29 home runs he allowed were the most in baseball, and the worst of his ten year career.
We will continue to monitor Sanchez’s health as we move forward and will update as necessary.
