Just when you thought the rumors were dying down (I sincerely wish they were), another NFL team has reportedly emerged as a potential landing spot for Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh.
On Thursday, John U. Bacon, who may be the most connected media source when it comes to Harbaugh, appeared on “The Wolverine Digest Pod” and when he was asked about the possibility of Harbaugh becoming the Minnesota Vikings next head coach, Bacon revealed that there has been “some communication” between the two sides. “I don’t know how big of a thing it is,” Bacon said. “There has been some communication [with the Vikings]. I can say that. For a while, there was with Denver also, and that, obviously, didn’t go very far. So yeah, you never know.”
Note: On Friday morning, Bacon gave his daily “Harbaugh Watch” tweet and noted that he is still 80-20 that Harbaugh stays at Michigan.

Count me 80-20 he stays. But until NFL musical chairs ends, still a possibility, though a fading one.
But what might drive UM fans craziest: the timeline is entirely unclear. He's under contract, and doing the job full blast.— John U. Bacon (@Johnubacon) January 28, 2022
