If you’re anything like most Red Wings fans, you were not expecting Anthony Mantha to get into a fight in his first game back from injury. Also like most Red Wings fans, you’d be wrong if you thought this. He and Jeff Petry of the Montreal Canadiens got into a fight in the second period.

Mantha missed the last eight games as a result of a knee injury. For the season, Mantha has scored 12 goals to go with 11 assists. While it’s always good to see teammates who have one another’s backs, we’d prefer if Mantha would go ahead and keep his hands to himself for a while!
