Arkansas’s Bielema rips the Big Ten, proceeds to lose to Toledo

There is nothing better than watching Karma work at just the right moment.

That’s exactly what happened on Saturday when the Toledo Rockets traveled to War Memorial Stadium and stomped a mudhole in the collective butts of the Arkansas Razorbacks and their head coach and Big Ten schedule critic, Brett Bielema. The Rockets, who pulled off the huge upset 16-12, may be in the MAC conference, but it may have been supporters of Ohio State and the Big Ten who enjoyed the result of this game the most.

You see, earlier in the week coach Bielema went out of his way to rip Ohio State and their remaining schedule. By doing so, the former Wisconsin head coach was also ripping the rest of the Big Ten.

“I spent a lot of time in that other conference,” Bielema said. “Ohio State’s ranked No. 1, and they have one game remaining on their schedule that has anybody ranked right now, Michigan State. And I looked at, and we’re going to play eight straight opponents that are ranked.”

Well, coach Bielema, you may be right about the SEC having a ton of ranked teams, but guess what, Arkansas is no longer one of them.
