Aron Baynes is quietly putting together a nice little dunk tape.
Following a consistent stream of nightly deliveries over the past three weeks or so, Baynes delivered again late in Saturday’s 111-107 loss to the Toronto Raptors.
Trailing 98-82 with 5:08 remaining in the fourth, Baynes was waiting on the doorstep of an errant Brandon Jennings drive, and he cleaned up with surprising extension and authority:
Baynes and Jennings joined forces with the rest of the Pistons’ bench unit to close the contest on a 29-13 run. Baynes finished with 11 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two blocks.
