Happy Birthday Anibal Sanchez: Highlights from 17 strikeout game (Video)

Happy Birthday to Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez. Sanchez turned 31 years old today and I am sure he feels lucky to be spending his big day in Lakeland with the rest of the Tigers.

Here is a highlight video from April 26th, 2013 when Sanchez set the Tigers single game record with 17 strikeouts against the Atlanta Braves.

Flashback: Amazing Hockey Brawl Ends With High Five

Whether or not you agree that fights should be allowed in hockey, you have to agree that they can be extremely exciting to watch. As I was going through YouTube I came across this fight video between Joel Theriault and Gaby Roch of the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey, a Quebec-based semi-pro league that is actually known for it’s great fights.
