Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow suffered a season ending injury during last night's 20-9 loss to the Washington Football Team. He knew right away that he'd be sidelined for the remainder of the current season, as evidenced by his message on social media soon afterwards.

However, the injury has been revealed to be even worse than originally thought.
An MRI revealed that Burrow suffered a torn ACL, torn MCL and other structural issues in his knee.
It's a possibility that Burrow won't be ready to go by the start of next season, as these types of injuries can take up to a full calendar year to recover from.
However, there's reason for optimism:
Our best wishes to Burrow for a speedy rehabilitation and a return to action as soon as possible.
