A hot start for both sides of the ball gave the Lions the advantage in this one, as the team went into the locker room at halftime up 22-0. The Lions dominated every aspect of the first half and, in the end, proved to be too much for Carson Wentz and the Commanders to overcome.
Im just glad that the NFL got to see the Detroit Lions we know they are capable of becoming….
We knew they had this in them…..and now they showed just a little taste of what is to come!

Fans have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of these young Lions and knew the team was capable of a performance like we saw today. 2022 first-round pick Aidan Hutchinson shook off a not-so-great Week One by claiming the rookie sack record in one game after collecting three today.

It feels good to get that first win out of the way, and I know head coach Dan Campbell has to feel the same. It's a long season, and there are still things the team needs to work on but right now, drink it in, man. Now let's celebrate our first victory Sunday, shall we?
