Blaine Hardy recalled from Toledo; Ryan sent down

Following the 5-4 loss to the New York Yankees the Detroit Tigers made a roster change in the bullpen.

Blaine Hardy has a 2.45 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, 5 strikeouts, 2 walks, and has allowed 6 hits in 7.1 innings of work this season. Kyle Ryan has appeared in 21 games for Detroit this season with a 3.10 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, and 9 strikeouts. Ryan gave up a triple against the Yankees last night that extended the New York lead to 5-1. [stats from ESPN]
